Was invited to present in a session on Construction Value Chains by the One Planet Network. The session contributes to UNEP’s initiative on strengthening policy through the value-chain analysis.

The methodology is interesting and promotes an integrated approach to sustainability by addressing this across value chains. It aims to identify hotspots where changes can be made and works with role-players to develop actions which support sustainability.

My presentations focused on developing country projects and covered brick making, bio-based material specifications, and legislation for local content. An introduction to the methodology and UNEP’s work can be found here.
