For a number of years, we have run an architectural competition on sustainable housing. As would be expected, we receive fabulous, rich graphic material from architectural students.

However, we would now like to broaden the competition to all the built environment professions and increase the emphasis on ideas and research. So it would include questions like: “What innovative ideas or research can be developed to create more sustainable and inclusive housing in African cities?”

So, how can entries that reflect this broader objective, be invited?

What formats are suitable for sharing innovative ideas and research, and can be shared in interesting, accessible exhibitions?

Posters (similar to conferences), short structured videos, slide shows with data visualisations?  

It would be interesting to get suggestions..
